# Does my delivery require a signature?

> LTL freight shipments require a signature on delivery. Standard parcel orders do not require a signature unless requested.

A signature is only required for LTL (Less Than Truckload) freight shipments. Parcel shipments do not require a signature upon delivery.

## Signature Requirements

* **LTL Freight Orders:** A signature is required upon delivery to confirm receipt. The carrier will coordinate a delivery window.
* **Standard Parcel Shipments:** No signature is required unless requested by the customer or specified by the carrier.

## What to Expect for LTL Deliveries

* The carrier will contact you to schedule a delivery time.
* Someone must be present to sign and inspect the shipment.
* If any damage is visible, note it on the delivery receipt before signing and contact us immediately.
